What We Look for In an Education Franchise Owner

The key to Snapology’s success is finding the right people to bring our programs into new communities. Our education franchise is not always a great fit for everyone, which is why we use our Discovery Process to help us determine if prospective owners are a good fit for our company – and for the applicants to decide if we are a good fit for them. Our franchise owners come from a wide variety of backgrounds and have different experiences, yet many of them have a few characteristics in common. Our ideal candidates often fit one of two profiles. Though we by no means limit our choices to these specific profiles, we find that our successful owners often fit, at least somewhat, into one or the other.

Corporate Leaders & Business Owners

Many of our owners came from corporate America or were previous business owners. Our education franchise is also a good fit for someone with experience making decisions that affect the bottom line. If you’re passionate about wealth building, business ownership, and family, Snapology might be a great next step for you.

A few of their strengths include:

  • Driven and motivated
  • Able to delegate tasks
  • Knows that mom is the customer and the child is the user

A few of their motivations include:

  • Diversifying their portfolio
  • Providing for their family
  • A more flexible schedule
  • Return on their investment

These candidates are often not looking to work in the business but build out a full staff to run the day-to-day operations. They also often have multiple streams of income.

Education & Engineering Professionals

Snapology is a great fit for college professors, engineering professionals, education administrators, and those from similar professions. We find that these candidates are often passionate about children and their community and are looking to give back, which makes our education franchise a great fit.

  • Like working with parents as the customer
  • Strong ability to follow processes
  • High EQ

A few of their motivations include:

  • Being their own boss
  • Having a flexible schedule
  • Frustration with the current education system
  • Recognizes a lack of organized activities for children outside of sports

These candidates are often first-time business owners, enjoy working with people, and have a Bachelor’s degree or higher.
